Next up on our muses series is Richard Serra who upon our visit to Dia Beacon in 2019, cemented our admiration for him and his work. ⁠⠀

Serras work is truly one that you can't appreciate until you have seen it in person due to the scale. These towering rusting steel sculptures throw the balance of the viewer, with great movement from such rooted solid pieces. ⁠⠀

We love how the majority of his works are sight specific pieces adapting and reacting to the landscape, and they really do span the earth from New York and Long Island where he lives and works to Iceland and New Zealand.⁠
