Led Zeppelin IV

I wasn't raised in a particularly musical house, we didn't have rows and rows of records on our selves but I was lucky enough that the few records that were there were of immaculate taste and Led Zeppelin's lV was one of the best!

This album is one of those rare LPs that people from multiple generation discover in the same way, you can feel that essence of rebellion that your parents (and possibly grandparents for some of you!) felt from the second they heard Robert Plant's piercing vocals on the opening 'Black Dog'. For those that it grabs onto, it never lets go!

There is not only incredible energy in the album with tracks like 'Rock and Roll' and 'Four Sticks' but some beautiful ethereal offerings in When the Levee Breaks' and the almost infamous 'Stairway to Heaven'

In our opinion one of the greatest albums of all time. Let us know what you think in the comments below.
