We just came across Joe Cruz's photography in the most recent issue of Display Copy magazine and we were blown away.
Cruz really blends the lines between art and commercial photography. His work combines a mixture of techniques and inputs which seem to constantly be jostling for attention. His practice led him to utilise a variety of handheld scanners in unorthodox ways, resulting in images that evoke a classical painting aesthetic through contemporary means, almost as if Warhol was alive in the late 19th century and created the Factory with the impressionists in Paris!
