Jerry Hsu is one of our favourite professional skateboarders but today we want to talk about his incredible photography work.⁠⁠

Hsu is one of those creatives that is not only always looking but is always seeing everything around him too, he manages to capture the most insignificant and intimate moments that tell and incredible story just through the smallest gesture. He has an almost David Lynch mindset finding great beauty in the weird and the macabre.⁠⁠

⁠He has been very prolific with his work releasing his second book in 2019, ‘The Beautiful Flower is the World’ and through his other outlets like his abstract blog ‘Table for One’ which he took pictures on his blackberry of people eating by themselves as he was fascinated by the stigma surrounding this act when he saw it more as serenity, another example of viewing the mundane as beautiful.⁠⁠
